St. Clair Shores, MI (September 22, 2020) – One person lost their life after a motor vehicle accident on Monday afternoon. At approximately 3 p.m., on September 21, the Michigan State Police responded to the scene of an accident on Interstate 94.
Reports provided by a spokesperson for the Michigan Department of Transportation show that a 26-year-old road worker was performing duties of his job on Interstate 94 near mile marker 9 in the St. Clair Shores area when he was struck by a vehicle.
The victim sustained fatal injuries in the accident. Crews responded to the scene but were unsuccessful in administering life-saving efforts.
At this time, investigations surrounding the crash are ongoing with the Michigan State Police.
