Detroit, MI (November 24, 2020) – A secondary collision reported in the Detroit area on Sunday evening claimed the lives of two people. On November 22, the Michigan State Police responded to the scene of a crash on Lodge Freeway.
Reports show that a crash involving two vehicles took place on the freeway. After the collision, the vehicles pulled over to the side of the road. Two people exited their vehicles at the scene of the accident and stood next to one of the cars. While standing in the roadway, the two people were struck by a third vehicle.
The two victims were fatally injured in the accident. Authorities arrived at the scene and pronounced them deceased.
At this time investigations are underway. However, authorities believe that alcohol may have played a role in the crash.
