Home Township, MI (December 2, 2020) – An automobile accident reported on Monday claimed the lives of two people in Home Township, according to police. On November 30, the Michigan State Police responded to the scene of a crash on Michigan 46.
Reports from authorities show that 21-year-old Josue David Chaparro was driving a 2015 Chevrolet sedan east on Michigan 46 when his vehicle collided with a 1998 Chevrolet pickup truck, driven by 23-year-old Breanna Malynn VanHorn.
The impact of the crash left both vehicles severely damaged. Authorities arrived at the scene of the accident and pronounced both Josue David Chaparro and Breanna Malynn VanHorn deceased as a result of their injuries.
At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
