Flint, MI – Pedestrian Injured in Crash with SUV on Pierson Rd

Flint, MI (February 26, 2021) – A pedestrian accident reported in the Flint area sent one man to a local hospital with serious injuries on Thursday evening. Just before 6:40 p.m., on February 25, officers with the Flint Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Pierson Road.

Reports from the police show that a 53-year-old man was crossing the roadway at the intersection of Pierson Road and Kermit Street, located just east of Fleming Road when he was struck by a westbound Buick SUV.

The man was severely injured in the accident. He was rushed to Hurley Medical Center for the treatment of injuries. Authorities confirmed that he remains hospitalized in critical condition at this time.

The police in Flint are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
