Ontwa Township, MI – Two Injured in Truck Crash on Redfield St

Ontwa Township, MI (January 7, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Monday resulted in injuries. Just before 9 a.m., on January 4, the police, firefighters, and medical personnel were requested to provide assistance at the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Redfield Street.

Reports from authorities show that a red sedan was involved in a collision with a silver semi-truck near the intersection of Redfield Street and Elkhart Road. The crash caused moderate damage to the front-end of the semi-truck. The sedan sustained severe damage, pinning the occupants of the vehicles inside.

Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated the trapped victims. Two people were transported to area hospitals for the treatment of injuries. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
