Biography
Ms. Weisman is a co-founder of Vahdat Weisman Law and has built her primary practice around several multi-million dollar catastrophic cases. Ms. Weisman focuses her practice on medical malpractice, wrongful death, civil rights, and other various personal injury claims. Licensed to practice in all Michigan State and Federal Courts, Ms. Weisman has recently obtained a $13,000,000.00 dollar settlement for her critically injured client. In addition to her Michigan practice, Ms. Weisman has also litigated claims in Texas and California.
Prior to opening Vahdat Weisman Law, Ms. Weisman clerked for Hon. Richard J. Garcia and R. George Economy at the Ingham County Probate Court. Since 2016, Kara has been litigating personal injury cases and obtained many multi-million dollar settlements for her clients.
Kara Weisman grew up in Sarasota, Florida and earned her undergraduate criminal justice and psychology degrees from Indiana University-Bloomington. She graduated cum laude from Cooley Law School in 2015, where she then obtained her juris doctor degree. During her time in law school, she clerked for the Federal Defender for the Eastern District of Michigan and was very involved in the Innocence Project, where she helped obtain a dismissal of all charges for a wrongfully convicted client. Because of Ms. Weisman's work, an individual who spent several years in prison for a crime he did not commit has regained his freedom.
As a Founding Partner at Vahdat Weisman Law, Ms. Weisman prides herself in zealous advocacy and her commitment to her clients. She is not afraid to stand up for her clients until justice is served.
